Transforming the Installation Dinner into the Annual Membership Meeting

This year, the Board unanimously decided to rebrand the Annual Installation Dinner as the “Annual Membership Meeting,” signaling a shift in focus from celebrating the organization to highlighting its members. This change reflects our commitment to centering our events around our valued membership base. Additionally, we will introduce a new tradition of recognizing a volunteer each year with an award for their outstanding contribution to the Foundation, underscoring our appreciation for their dedication and service.
The Annual Membership Meeting will also serve as an opportune moment to welcome new members and corporate sponsors into our community. Drawing on the spirit of camaraderie, we will conduct giveaways of SAF merchandise and offer select items for sale to enhance the engagement of attendees. As this event is dedicated to celebrating our membership, there will be no guest speaker this year, allowing ample time for networking and connection-building among members.
This year’s Membership Dinner will take place at the esteemed Madonna Inn. In response to the rising cost of living, ticket prices will remain affordable at $70, with the added bonus of complimentary appetizers provided at no extra charge. Food options this year include New York Steak or Halibut, to be served with salad, seasonal vegetables, baked potato, and baked rolls. The Vegetarian Choice will be salad, Vegetarian Lasagna with Vegetables. Dessert will include Black Forest cake and Pink Champaign Cake. We have streamlined the ticketing process this year by implementing a user-friendly website link, simplifying both registration and invitation distribution. Invitations, featuring a convenient link and QR code, will be dispatched by the end of the month, ensuring swift access to event details and registration. Our diligent Web Master will oversee all tracking and payments, ensuring seamless management and cost efficiency for our organization.
We are thrilled to unveil the technological advancements and administrative enhancements implemented over the past year, aimed at fostering a more efficient and effective operation. We encourage attendees to bring along potential new members to experience firsthand the vibrant community and impactful initiatives of the Foundation. As we strive to expand our membership base, we recognize that increased membership translates to greater support and resources for advancing our mission.
