The theme of 2024 was the quality and thoughtfulness of the service the PD provided to our community members and visitors.

This holiday season, the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office had the honor of joining law enforcement agencies from across Southern California for Operation Holiday Cheer.

On December 12th, we had the privilege of assisting the Sheriff’s Honor Farm in distributing over 175 bikes to children in our community.

Beginning in September of 2023, the San Luis Obispo County Auto Theft Taskforce began identifying numerous victims of stolen vehicles stolen from private parties and car dealerships.
